corporate profile
Background
The Henderson Matusch (HM) partnership began when a number
of financial planning professionals, each providing similar niche
strategic financial planning services with previous licensees, made
the decision to combine their businesses. The general aims were to
maximise the effectiveness of their expertise and resources, and to
provide improved services to clients. After considering a number
of alternatives, the decision was made to attain our own Australian
Financial Services Licence, which commenced on 1st July 2004, after
much hard work and consultation.
Our approach
HM is a proactive financial planning group specialising in strategic
wealth creation and retirement advice. The three key features that set
us apart from other financial planning groups are:
- We focus on strategy over and above financial product,
- Each strategy incorporates both clients’ unique financial and
lifestyle goals, and
- We are committed to providing a high level of ongoing service to clients.
At HM we focus first on developing solid, yet flexible, strategies
for clients, before considering which financial products to
recommend. Our aim is to integrate our clients' financial and lifestyle
circumstances and goals into each strategy we develop.
By integrating each of the above features into a single strategy,
we not only achieve a degree of synergy, but make the strategy
durable. We believe our clients’ financial and lifestyle goals are
inextricably linked.
Our Services
HM is licensed to provide a broad range of services and financial
products like most other financial planners, however our premium
services are our
integrated cashflow and investment strategies.
Our objective is to not only achieve our clients’ long term financial
goals, but to assist them to maximise their lifestyle, to the extent that
increased financial resources allow greater freedom and choice along
the way.
Clients who utlilise this service tend to be wealth creators,
typically between the ages of 30 and 55, with at least seven years
until retirement. They often reside in their own home and have a
number of financial goals and objectives – but no plan or strategy on
how to achieve them. They are often employees, with families and
mortgages, trying to keep on top of every day expenses, without a
great deal of success.
We have proven that our
integrated cashflow and investment
strategies improve people's individual circumstances, and achieve
results far in excess of what they might otherwise been able to achieve
on their own. These results include:
- Paying out mortgages sooner and saving thousands of dollars
in interest repayments without impacting on your lifestyle or
reducing your disposable income,
- Legal and logical tax savings,
- Financial education to improve knowledge and understanding in this area of life,
- Increasing cashflow for investment purposes, and
- Establishing a strategic plan to ensure financial objectives are identified and achieved.
In all cases, our aim is for our clients to recognise us as an ‘adviser
for life’. Our success in achieving this goal is evidenced by the
number of new clients we receive by referral.
